Brimfield

Well, back from another adventure at Brimfield.  Wonderful time and so many terrific things.  I found many treasures but the best was a huge lot of laboratory glass.  Just posted a couple pieces of it on Etsy here.  Check it out..... lots more to follow.

Our 1st Flynn Avenue Sunday Market

Ok, up at 5:30am, sign put around town by 7:00am.  It's dam cold out but no rain.  Hoped for a clearing and decided to go for it and hope for the best.  One vendor there at 6:30 am and ready to set up.  Day turned out to never really clear.  About 10 vendors came and set up.  God bless them all.  They tore down around noon.  Understandably.  Everyone was kind and spoke gently.  We'll hope for better days ahead.

 Well, I've gone and done it!  Yep, open my shop doors on etsy in the vintage section.  It's fun and I'm learning alot about wording, etc..  Totally different than ebay and such.  Check it out, who knows you might see something you like!

It's finally come....

The snow!!!  Here in Vermont we expect at least one or two of these a year but this year has been different.  Not much at all until today.  It is so beautiful.  The WhistleStop is shut down for the day.  There won't be anyone looking for antiques, they'll all be on the slopes or at the country club (where this photo is taken) sliding.  Happy Winter!

Just Arrived...Jute Coffee Sacks

Lovely Jute Coffee Sacks- four are marked Louis Dreyfus Coffee. Eight others are marked Coffee Product of Mexico. Each sack has three wonderful woven deep purple lines and are about 44" x 28" with some irregularities. Would make a beautiful decorative pillow or STUNNING for framing. $8.00 each

I love old typewriters ..... have a few in stock. Wonderful to leave set up on a desk or in a nook with a few special words typed out for the one you love.

Sharing a part of me....

I am a person who loves to collect. Since we moved into our home from a larger home over three years ago, I downsized & sold many of my collections. I find I now have my core collections that I love. Here is a picture of my portraits. They are on one wall in the master bedroom and my man says its like someone is watching over us! Could be maybe....

Revamping the shop
